Jon Gruden, former NFL coach and current ESPN analyst, liked what he saw from the top two Oklahoma State prospects in the 2012 NFL Draft, receiver Justin Blackmon and quarterback Brandon Weeden. Gruden’s praise for Blackmon was especially glowing.
In a teleconference with reporters, Gruden said, “If you don’t like Justin Blackmon, you don’t like football.”
He continued to heap accolades on the playmaking wide receiver: “When you watch a film of Justin Blackmon, he’s a difference-maker. I expect that to continue at the next level. He fits any offense, I think. I’ve seen him play in the slot. I’ve seen him play flanker and split end. He’s smart, heady, experienced and he is clutch in clutch situations — third down, red zone, two-minute, big games. That’s the best of Justin Blackmon.”
