The majority of mock drafts project Matt Kalil to go to the Minnesota Vikings at the No. 3 overall draft spot.
Could a potential trade partner throw off those projections?
Charley Waters of the Pioneer Press writes that, “the Miami Dolphins’ apparent appetite for quarterback Ryan Tannehill from Texas A&M should at least tease Vikings general manager Rick Spielman.”
The Dolphins lost out in the Peyton Manning sweepstakes and then failed to land free agent Matt Flynn. If the Dolphins believe Tannehill is their man under center, then they might not want to wait until their No. 8 overall draft position to see if the Texas A&M quarterback falls in their laps.
